I should have realized that the last time it was updated was in 2016, but unfortunately I did not see that before purchasing, this software has been nothing but a waste of $5.99. My home has a decent number of Smart Things and this software was intended to be my "handy helper” in diagnosing and keeping track of my Network. You can wirelessly scan documents to PC, network, and even cloud storage services. It has a scanning speed of up to 35 pages per minute, and has a duplex scanning feature for double-sided pages. This software, while billed as a "simple and intuitive” solution for those of us with little Network knowledge does not work and does nothing to help. The Brother ADS-2700W ( view at Amazon) is one of the best document scanners on the market. Interestingly enough, the Home Scan help menu item simply denotes “Help is not available for Home Scan” which is quite tellilng. Four subsequent scans from the same location within SECONDS showed 6 different device counts (count went up, down, up and then up) - and numerous devices were NOT being powered on/off during this time.
